Stay Updated With Our Clinic’s COVID-19 Protocols

GHENTMD Office Covid-19 Update

*This is a difficult time for all of us. We want you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep our patients and staff healthy and safe. Our number one priority is family, patients, and community. We have implemented strict Covid-19 protocols in line with CDC recommendations.

*We will make every attempt to remain fully staffed to serve our clients and patients, although not at the expense of anyone’s health. If you feel ill, please take care of yourself and call us to discuss how we may best serve you.

*Given recent recommendations by the CDC on face mask use to reduce community-based transmission of the pandemic, all patients and staff are required to wear face masks while in the office. We will provide you with a face mask if you do not come with one.

*At the recommendation of CDC, we are taking patients’ temperatures and asking screening questions prior to allowing entry to the reception area.

  • Have you traveled to a COVID-19 affected geographic area within 14 days of symptom onset? (China, South Korea, Iran, Europe, cruise ship or any high risk sites in the United States)
  • Have you had close contact with a person who traveled to high risk sites or has COVID-19?
  • Do you have fever, cough or shortness of breath?

If you meet these criteria, you will be asked to return to your vehicle and to call our office for a telephone visit so that we do not expose other patients and staff.

*To aide safety and promote social distancing, telehealth is available and is a viable option to access care while reducing the likelihood of exposure during the pandemic.

*Telehealth virtual visit is available at GHENTMD to existing and new patients who would like to take advantage of this service. The service is currently available during our regular hours. We will provide updates to additional hours for this service should the need arise.

*We are reinforcing our existing training on effective hand washing and personal hygiene, disinfecting surfaces multiple times daily, and ensuring our employees are healthy for work, or staying home if sick.

*If you have any questions or concerns, please call us. Furthermore, we encourage you to visit https://www.cdc.gov/COVID19 for more details on COVID-19.
